The future success of Genesee County's largest industries depends on the workforce development outreach efforts made TODAY. In partnership with the Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) and GLOW with Your Hands, Genesee County Premier Workforce businesses pay an annual $5,000 membership which includes benefits like:

GOLD Sponsorship for GLOW with Your Hands event

BEA Business Membership including sponsorship of BEA Summer Career Exploration Camps and other BEA career exploration events

Premier Members Only Annual Graduating Seniors Job Fair event at GVBOCES Batavia

Lunch-N-Learn Presentations at K-12 schools to promote your industry to your future workforce (coordinated by the BEA)

Funding & support for specialized equipment needed in K-12 schools

Round table meetings with companies on specific workforce needs.

The Genesee County BEA has become a viable organization in this community because of vision and hard work. Business leaders and school administrators saw the need, and rose to the occasion. The incredible partnership between business and education has improved the overall learning of our young people, and will continue to help improve the economic climate and make Genesee County a community that young adults will want to choose as their home.
The success of the BEA depends on the support of the community, the participation of the local school districts, and the dedication of our business members.
